Who wouldn't be moved with such scenarios brought about by Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines?
(a woman stranded in the streets during the typhoon)
(people braving the dangers and risking their lives onto the electric wires, while some are walking in the neck-deep waters)
(an exodus of stranded cars and people in the Eastern Manila-Rizal area)

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. -Matthew 9:36

it's very hard to imagine, but it happened.
@dinah: malaking bagay na properties lang ang nawala sa inyo, if you compare to others who lost loved ones.
Nakakatindig-balahibo. Buti na lang resilient at mapagmalasakit ang mga pinoy, we'll get through this.
Very depressing. I didn't have the chance to watch the news last Saturday and I am somehow glad about it. I just heard about what my officemate went through last Saturday, he was one of the victims, let's say, of the flood and it got into me. Even just hearing about the number of people that died, how he lost so much of his properties. It's just very, very sad and hard to believe.
@vajarl: nakakalungkot, even dito sa ofc wherein we have lots of staff who resides in marikina. hard to believe- parang sine. pero totoo na pala.
Siyetehan,
Kakaiba talaga ang mga kuha na yun. Isang napakalaking dagok sa atin.
Hay...

@ever: yung #2 is actually very risky but imagine them doing it just because the water down below is too high.
with the last pic, talagang parang too good to be true na nangyari yan.
@zorlone: mabuti sa atin eh dagok lang. imagine those who lost loved ones because of the catastrophe.
Last I heard merong 10-12 employees na nawawala sa amen. Hindi pa nacocontact. At may isang patay.
