Eugenio Vagni Rescued

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Volunteer Eugenio Vagni, who was abducted by Abu Sayyaf terrorist group early this year, has finally been released on Sunday, July 12, 2009.


Vagni was the last of the three ICRC victims to have been released. The other two who were previously rescued were Filipina Mary Jean Lacaba, and Swiss volunteer Andreas Notter.

Red Cross Volunteer Rescued!

Lt. Gen Nelson Allaga, commander of the Western Mindanao Command confirmed just this night that Mary Jean Lacaba, the filipino Red Cross Volunteer held hostage by the Abu Sayyaf group about 70 days ago has been rescued in Indanan town in Sulu.

We do hope that the other two volunteers, Swiss Andreas Notter, and Italian Eugenio Vagni, will also be rescued ASAP.

Hindi Maipaliwanag

May mga bagay na sadya yatang mahirap intindihin. Mga pangyayaring hindi maipaliwanag. Mga tanong na walang kasagutan.
Bakit kailangang dukutin ang mga taong ang tanging gawain sa buhay ay tumulong sa kapwa?
Kung anuman ang dahilan ng mga abu sayyaf at binihag nila ang mga Red Cross Volunteers, wala sila sa tamang katwiran.
