Are You Ready To Gamble?

Tuesday, July 20, 2010 ·

If you frequent watching the World News, you will notice that exciting things are happening in the Philippines since June 30, 2010 when a new President of the Republic has been unaugurated to public office.

Since then, the newly-elected President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino has been making unprecedented reforms in the government, such as not using blinkers and sirens whenever he travels. He also intends to obey all traffic rules (including stopping on red lights) even if he has the privelege not to do so.

Last week, there are talks that the President is also contemplating on selling the government-owned Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to private companies. This means that the casino operations will also be managed by a private company.

However, many gamblers are skeptical on the effect of privatizing the casino operations, as they are quite unsure whether any private company can manage it well. Also, they are thinking that additional taxes and/or costs may yet be imposed once the operations have been privatized.

And so during these days, many more Filipinos are beginning to study more about the history of online casino and how they can be able to start making money out of the Online Casino.
Online gambling is actually made possible by the internet, where gamblers are given the option to play poker games and other casino games using the internet.

It has steadily become more famous, that a group of dedicated people have started to setup the Online Casino Pedia. Online Casino Pedia is the site to visit when you want to know things and stuffs about playing casino online. Much like the wikipedia concept, anyone can deposit his or her own thoughts and idea about online casino gaming. In turn, any people who will visit the site can get the others' view about the subject matter that they are looking for (e.g., online poker, swiss casino, etc.).

And so with talks of the PAGCOR privatization, chances are, Filipino casino gamblers will try to see other alternatives to play their favorite poker game.
